Sponge Counting and Detection System
Sponge Counting and Detection System can accurately calculate total sponges totality before surgery, the sponges that lost in surgery and the unused sponges after surgery, and further detect and locate the missing ones. If the unused quantity plus the used quantity equals to the totality, it means there is no sponge left inside the patient. If you find some sponge missing, you can use the scan antenna to detect human body externally. And it will beep once it finds sponge inside the body and simultaneously displays the number.
This system adopts cutting-edge FRID electronic tag technique, in other words, plant a coin-like mini electronic tag with thickness less than one millimeter inside the traditional sponge without making discrepancy from the traditional gauze. It can be scanned, calculated or identified by our tailor-made electronic sponge bucket.
All sponge before the surgery can be calculated automatically by the system.
The quatity of all the used sponges in the bucket can be automatically displayed on the screen.
